Here is the delicious recipe for Mashed potatoes in the oven and its brown butter, ideal to accompany meats and grills, salmon or simply with a salad.
Ingredients for 4 persons :
- 500 g of potatoes (Bintje or Ratte)
- 60 g semi-salted butter
- Coarse salt
- Freshly ground pepper

Mashed baked potatoes, brown butter
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C (th.6).
- Brush and wash the skin of the potatoes.
- Place a bed of coarse salt in an oven dish, place the potatoes in it. Bake until the blade of a knife easily penetrates the flesh. Remove the potatoes from the oven, peel them. Arrange them in a bowl, coarsely mash them with a fork. Season.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter to the hazelnut state. Immediately and gradually add it to the mashed potatoes, mixing gently.
